Native plants provide food and habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. They’re more resilient to drought, heat, and local growing conditions than many traditional landscape plants. If it can survive our harsh geology, it can survive a garden.

Whenever possible, we grow our plants from locally collected wild seed. These local genetics have spent 10s of thousands of years adapting to Arkansas soils, weather, and ecosystems. We collect seed from multiple populations throughout the Ouachitas to preserve genetic diversity and produce stronger, more resilient plants. Our goal is to help preserve the unique genetics of Arkansas’s native flora.
